Speaking A Little Too Boldly: Six Principles for When to Speak

He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend. (Proverbs 22:11)

This week I have the privilege and honor of appearing as a guest on Heather Bock’s blog, glimpsesofjesus.com! You can read my post over in her corner of the blogging world today. In my guest post, Speaking A Little Too Boldly, I present six principles to consider when you are concerned about a matter in someone’s life and wish to speak to them about it.

Over the years I have made countless mistakes in my communication. Like you, I have been the recipient of both hurtful communication and communication done well. I have asked God, the great Communicator, to make Psalm 45:1 true of me, that my tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. (AMPC)

While you are visiting me over at Heather’s home page today, please take the time to check out her website as well. I subscribe to her blog, so maybe you do too. Heather does quite a few book reviews. That’s how we met. She was kind enough to review MINE! She is an amazing woman, great writer, and passionate about Bible Study!

Have a great week!

Planting and Watering

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes growth.
